Andre Allen Jr. (born December 16,1998) is Lil’ Woo, a rapper, song-writer from DeKalb, Illinois. Lil ‘Woo wrote his first song at the age of 8 years old and his talent was recognized by his father who is an executive producer. At the age of 12 Lil’ Woo recorded his first solo with the assistance of his father at his home studio. The song drew a lot of local attention and Lil Woo began to perform at school functions and talent shows.


Lil’ Woo has just finished writing and recording his new album titled “Nostalgia” with hopes to get his music heard and recognized by Music Labels and A& R representatives. Lil’ Woo has been working hard to bring something new and different into the music industry. Lil’ Woo is a versatile artist who can write about anything and create different styles of music. Lil’ Woo can write clean music because he believes profanity is just a clutch. Lil’ Woo has grown as an artist and strives on writing good material that can be enjoyable to individuals of different age groups he enjoys using his talent to bring joy to others. Lil’ Woo is capable of shooting and editing his own music videos and recently released “501 dresser Rd” a video depicting his love for his hometown where he displays school spirit. Lil’ Woo is currently working on shooting other videos from the Nostalgia album.

Lil’ Woo has built up a fan base in his home town by performing at The House Café for Open Mic Mondays. He has gained a substantial amount of followers on social media networks that support and enjoys his music. He has ventured on to pursue other open mic shows and was given the opportunity to be a featured artist at open mic poetry sets through the Chicagoland area. Lil’ Woo embraces the stage like a natural and performed at many shows including The Black Women’s Expo in Chicago alongside teenage girls from Model Esteem, The Daley Center in downtown Chicago for Congressman Danny Davis in honor of Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday, Donda’s House, Inc a nonprofit that support young aspiring artists in Chicago area. Because of his positive influence, Lil’ Woo was also given the opportunity to perform for actor Fred Williamson at a community event in Chicago. Lil’ Woo has been featured in the Daily Chronicle a local newspaper in his hometown on numerous occasions. Lil Woo has performed collaborations with other aspiring artist and has released lots of albums including New Era, Fan Girls, The Freshman, and the Black Lives Matter Ep album that was released in February 2016 in honor of Black History Month. Lil’ Woo was recently featured on Lyrical Lemonades website as an artist to look out for because of his heavy hitting verses and smooth delivery.
